🪰 Drosophila, or the common fruit fly (yes, the tiny one that annoys you in the kitchen), is one of the most widely used model organisms in biology, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, and beyond. I'm especially fascinated by the progress and research surrounding these creatures—not just because it's mind-blowing, but also because of what it reveals about neuroscience.
